I know the leather wheel in my old Sport was a different style than the TC wheel I've got hanging in the garage - it was actually just like the "base" wheel that was in my current car before I installed the Grant except, of course, for the leather rim... WTB: 87-88 Steering wheel LX or TC + more items Reply #21 – August 08, 2006, 12:32:55 AM I'm assuming that my wheel is factory according to carfax I'm the 3rd owner of my bird and the 2nd is my friend and I know he didn't change the wheel. I do remeber when I cut off the leather that it has some sort of padding behind it. Also the part where the lower portion of the A that meets the wheel is raised so it and the leather are at the same level. Quote Selected
