new ride.... Reply #18 – June 01, 2006, 12:15:59 AM Quotejust call it a Mach 1, little easier to explain that wayMaybe, but the seats are the biggest give away that it's not a mach1. I remember a guy at a cruise calling his car a cobra R, but the bumber said "MUSTANG GT", with the mustang letters only colored in.I personaly like it without the stripe. I've considered removing it so many times on my mach1, but can't bring myself to modify mine. Car looks good shame302. Quote Selected
new ride.... Reply #19 – June 01, 2006, 10:14:58 PM yep...the mustang seats dont compare at all to the mach 1 seats. nether do the cobras realy. the mach 1 seats are probably one of the most comfortable seats in a ford to date.tey wrap around you like the car is giving you ahug..... Quote Selected

new ride.... Reply #21 – June 03, 2006, 10:29:17 AM Thanks guys! i have been driving it around for about a week now and couldnt be happier. the power is nice, it gets alot of looks, heck it even gets girls hootin and hollerin... im trying to come up with a few things to make it a little more mine. maybe paint the hood flat black like the machs, but further out covering the whole cowl. id lore likely just get some "32 valve DOHC" decals i found in flat black and put them on the hood next to the shaker. i have some polished 01 cobra wheels. they are for the tbird but i think they would look better than the mach1 wheels on the mustang right now. the T56 i have set asside for the tbird might find a home in there is it turns out i cant keep the bird. id realy like to throw a decent cd/mp3 player in there as well as some speakers and amps possibly. some better seats would be cool. i never realy saw myself as a stang owner but man, i love this car. the problem with it is, it only makes me want to work on the tbird even more than before! also, all of you that may have been thinking about the 13" cobra brakes....stop thinking about it and just do it. they are so sweet and well, well worth the money and effort. LOL...at inspection a guy walked over and says..."that aint a snake, its a gt" and mumbled something off about kids putting svt badges on gts... so i said nope, it aint. it was borne a gt. then i popped the hood. he then walked off abd spitefully mumbled something about it still not being a cobra. hes right, its not...lol Quote Selected
