Yes they can, cant remember how many close calls I had between the ages of 9 and 18. from chasing bears on our bikes to jumping everything with a motor, FYI a 35 year old heavier than a lincoln snowmobile with boggie wheel suspension and a jb welded in spark plug can infact get 5 feet of air and survive.... but your back cannot. I also bent my 1990 skidoo safari's tunnel 3 inches trying to jump it over the train tracks, it actually bounced twice before stopping, and I had the fun of looking in to the front of my dirt bikes headight with my feet over my head while attempting to do the same thing a couple summers before, I actually landed that one :D

Oh and I wouldnt reccommend riding a really loud old bike along a 4 foot rock ledge of a rock quary, almost dropped it off the edge trying to turn around when it began to narrow to 3 feet

But whats life if you dont take chances, you wont know how much you enjoy life till you almost loose it, I dont reccommend trying though :nono:
