It's so clean I can't believe that you didn't take a travel back in time to 1985 to buy it. Nice:D

I would definitly do it, in private, with saran wrap covering it.  But only expensive saran wrap, cause the cheap stuff just won't do for something that nice.:D

Yeah, I agree with the saran wrap and all of that stuff.  When I saw this on Ebay, I thought to myself that it is too much of a trailer queen for me but at the same time, I was hoping someone from here would get it and preserve it.  I am also holding out for another type of Cougar though.
After spending the money to get that car, I'm pretty confident you are serious about keeping it in the condition you paid for.

Whew, there is one that is in the safe.

Now I wonder who bought that black 20K-mile LS.
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

nah guys im gonna use it as my daily driver. HAH J/K. karl I was thinking the same thing as far as wanting a really nice original cougar but also perserving it. I just kept thinking I'd regret not buying it if I passed it up. I havent heard of many exotic ways of storing cars except for the airtight bubble. S

I'd kill for my interior to look like that.  I never knew that there were supposed to be little Ford emblems in the squares on the running board things.  Mine must have fallen out years ago.  Lol kinda funny though, it being a Mercury and all.  Anyhow, amazing car man.

both of my 86's do, I dunno if my 87 does but I would suppose so. Hell even my station wagon does.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
