performance distributor module Reply #1 – March 27, 2006, 10:43:13 PM Go to a parts store, they sell a tool that makes it easy to remove. Some of them are angled rachet wrenches and some of them are small knurled round things. The screw type is usually a small Torx head or a very small hex head. Make sure you put white thermal grease on the back of it. Quote Selected

Are they any better than stock??? Not that I can tell... At least hopefully its a better quality than the Chinese replacements. The screw that holds the module is a 7/32"(maybe it's metric, but my 7/32 Snap-On deep socket fits perfectly). As others mentioned the auto supplys sell a special tool just for this job. Likely the distributor will have to be loosened and turned a bit for acess. Means it should be retimed with a light.
