    Ahhh, I dunno...
    I've had 2 Jeeps ('81 CJ-7  '74 J Series Truck)
    I've also had 1 Chevy, '87 S-10 Blazer, and personally, long-term driven 3 other Chevies, including the truck I have now, and the ONLY time Either of the Jeeps EVER let me down or left me stranded, was when the GM-designed alternator went bad on both of 'em.
    Plus, the Chevy K-1500 I have needed a transfer case overhaul at 10,000, and needed a new distributor at 34,000 miles...

    Don't matter what moniker is slapped on the ass of it, they ALL will go bad sooner or later.

    Personally, I think Ford had their collective heads up their asses for not making the 87-95 Birds (and Cougars) w/o the HO...
    Every manufacturer makes or has made a lemon...
