I am making arrangements to get my friends over here to help me part it out soon.. we'll probably strip it to the point where we can just cut up the rest and haul the remains off in my truck. Hate to do it to a car that could be someone's project, and doesn't have much rust, (especially compared to many of the northerner cars) but I don't think there's too much interest in the car as it is.Besides.. part of the deal I'm working on now is that one of my friends gets the '88 T-bird in exchange for helping me part out the '88 LSC.. (when I part it out, I want to do it quickly, not leave it looking like a half-eaten Thanksgiving turkey carcass for the next six months) and that'll become his project car. Might even let him have the HO out of it cheaply, when he's ready to deal with the SO in the Bird. (he'll be able to leave the Bird here to work on it for awhile) This way I get some spare parts to store out in the shed, he gets a project car, I might get a few bucks from parts I sell off, (which can then be put back into the other cars, if I so choose) and I solve the issue of what to do with both '88s.These plans are not yet set in stone.. so if someone comes along with a better idea, I might go for it. But at least I have some idea of how things will go, for a change. :pI think I've become too much of a fan of these cars now.. I've had a really hard time with the idea of cutting one up and getting rid of another.. it's clouding my judgement. I also have a hard time looking away any time one of these auctions gets posted. I've never had to deal with this kind of situation. (probably why I seem like such an idiot about it sometimes, esp. to those of you who have some experience knowing when to say when and parting one out or getting rid of it) I've usually just had one car.EDIT: If you really want to get back into a Mark so bad, and still have your parts cars, figure something out. :p I'm not gonna ask an arm and a leg for someone to come take this Mark.. especially not if it gets it back to a driveable car again. But if you wanted to I would have bought the car.Second only one car. I own 7 right now and only 4 of them run. I have to give a big thank you to my parents for that because 5 of them are parked at there house.Ok, I done with the thread hijack. Quote Selected
