seems that the interiors of any fbody never holds up. t-tops allmost all leak. t-top cars never got 350's from the factory. but the trans ams sure are shagy looking cars with the bodykits and some gta wheels. one other thing about those cars is you dont have to put much money in them to have a good sounding system. also exaust most of the time it falls off and sounds prety good. my buddys on his 3rd bird and is chasing electric problems. and my weak aod stang walked on his 305 ho

hmmm.... Guess the one i had that ran 7.94-motor- 7.17-spray in the 1/8 mile was a freak .

where do you guys get these avatars???????.

i think a 305 is a good engine even though it isnt a bigbore motor. just about anything you could do to a 350 you could do to the 305. just people just like to say yeah it's got a 350!! i guess.

The only F body I'd think about owning would be an '89 Turbo Trans Am. I actually saw one of these at the local drag strip run a 10.7 (not stock).

Nice times, you can make any motor fast same goes for the 305, but stock which his prolly is its a dog

Its a tird but then again its the RS and there are two more engines ahead of its game. The Tpi 305 and the Tpi 350.

On another note, I had a 307 chevy engine in my nova once. That was a little engine that could!

My buddy had a bone stock carbed 305 in an 84 K-5 Blazer. It was torqueless. Zero to thirty by the end of the week.......maybe.

Whatever a modded 305 can do, a 350 modded the same will do it better. That's why, not just to say it's a 350.

And Hondas get into the 10's now. That doesn't mean the B18 is anything special in 99% of the cases. The same goes for the 305.

I hate this car!!! God it wont run smooth! New plugs, wires cap and rotor and it still runs rough!! Plus I had a flat tire today! First flat in like 3 years and it isn't my car!

Late model 305 are know for wiping a lobe on the cam.

When I was in HS a kid had an 86 IROC with the 305. sharp car it was black with dark tint and red interior...only had like 30,000 miles (this was in '99 or so). I always tried to get him to race me but never did. Then he sold it and I didn't see it for awhile. Turns out he sold it to a guy from a couple towns away and when I was in college and on my way home for the weekend he would always get behind me. I could outrun him with my 5.0 '88 'Bird especially on long straights(had the stock 2.73's at that time). He'd usually catch me in the corners because my suspension was stock at that time with the 14'' wheels and all. I think they are good looking cars but they are about like fox T-birds/Cougs. There are not many nice ones left and white trash LOVE them.
