any crazy guys out there..tell me if ur car ever got impounded by the police..give me the story to it too..mine has just been impounded yesterday and i might go about taking it out of the impoud today..reckless driving and driving with no registration or valid insurance..i was even tossed in the cooler for a short while until the fuzz decided what to do with me,my car,my license,and my registration..im out thank god..registration license and the car are still there im gonna attempt the impossible and get it out.. it..i just transplanted a monster 5.0 in that thing and was gonna do a T5 swap with lots of Tremec $hit..make me feel better anyone out there who got their cars impounded..

I dont see why they would arrest you for that. I have been pulled over for wreckless driving(community service), no registration($40), no insurance($400) and with a plate off of a diffrent car, which I guess I didnt get charged for, and a suspended license. All they told me was to have my dad come and drive the car home. As soon as the cop turned the corner I jumped in and drove home.

Where are you at that cops suck so much.

hehehe..im in kuwait,im a kuwaiti national..im sure u know kuwait,the gulf country right next to iraq etc etc..here the traffic laws are so strict its unbelievable..so yeah..i got an approx $160 fine to pay before i get any of my stuff back..its not the fine thats bothering me that much..its the paperwork i have to go through to get my car back..screw my license ive been driving since i was 12 anyway

one of the cops drove my car..i got to warm up the backseat of the patrol car :)

MA state law, ya gotta carry at least comp. they wouldnt think twice to throw ya in the clink for a few hours if you got cought with no insurance and no reg. there deffinetly gonna tow your car at a very minimum. massachusettes sucks. although, i do understand why they have the laws they do. they just get carried away with alot of stuff.

on that note. when i had my mark viii, the registration ran out. i initally got pulled over for leaving a posi strip out of a store and up the road. it was a week night and it was about 1:30 in the morning without a soul around. accept a cop apparently. i still dont know where he came from. i only had the car 3 months at the time. for some reason i thought when i transferred the plates i carried a new registration for a full year. i was wrong, it carried the remainder of the old one. they had it towed but i knew the tow truck guy so instead of towing it to there inpound/holding yard he dropped it off in my driveway.

yeah the same laws that make me pay $200 a month on a $110 car. And I havent even been in a wreck or had any insurance claims.

I pay $155 a month FOR 2 CARS! Or around $77.5 per car. Who ya got for insurance? I've got Allstate.

Guess the laws are tough, as they don't want your country to wind up like the bad neighbors you mentioned...

yup im a kuwaiti national..its tough because lots of people have abused the freedom they had..now i get to suffer :(..me and my friends suffer alot..we're lunatics and always have been..stealing our parents cars at the age of 12-13..street racing since god knows when..chased by the fuzz almost on a constant basis :rolleyes: ..
