Reply #15 – November 09, 2005, 02:14:07 AM about 7 yrs ago in late may 5 friends and myself decided to rollerblade to the local ice cream shop which required a short jont down the local hiway.well we were all on the flowing lane when a friend noticed a car coming up on us from behind.so i stsrted to skate to the opposing traffic lane but the car came up on us faster then expected.i was in the other lane when i heard his horn so i shot for the shoulder but it was to late.he hit me at roughly 65mph according to the pollice report i recieved a broken left ankle and torn right icl both requiring reconstructive surgery.a seperated right clavicle,massive concusion and multiple stiches.there went my summer and my job. Reply #16 – November 09, 2005, 10:32:05 AM fighting, wrestling, soccer goalie, and aggressive inline skating have resulted in...destroyed right shoulder, falls out of socket and hurts all day everyday, one surgery so far. more on the way (eventually)all my fingers broken, multiple timesnose broken, 5 times.both wrists broken,bad ankles (too many sprains to count, they hurt everymorning now)right knee pops (partially dislocated once)several cracked ribs.a flat spot on my head from skating sans helmet.. that was the last time i didn't wear a helmet let me tell you.
