was there any progress on the last upgrade where all pictures within the posts are brought back?

to be honest,, there is a lost history of fox knowlege lost by this one aspect.

That was a database transfer issue. Alex could probably explain it better but there was a problem in converting the old image tags over to the new database. I'm not sure if he ever got it to work properly in testing.

can it be solved so that our images are brought back?
meaning if there is an outside/third party resource,, what would that cost?

is there even a resource that deals with this particular issue?
