Wow, I just looked, I've been here for ten years. I had no idea it's been that long. Cool.

I can vaguely remember the EZ board days, but I was only on two or three times a month. When the change happened, I was lucky enough to have stumbled on to the redirect just after it happened, so I signed up "here", too. Though I didn't become a really active poster until sometime in mid-late 2005.

We can all count on hand the truly asshole posters we've had here....I wouldn't call Tom in that same group, even...

There was that Mustang guy who didn't last very long, what a douche he was. There was that little shiznit heel mikey that ripped some folks off. And IGAH, who can forget IGAH. And that other guy...can't remember his name, but he posted a pic once of a wad of cash and an airsoft pistol...
Not sure what in hell THAT was about. Unless we're hunting, target shooting, or we're being attacked, keep your guns holstered until such need for them to be drawn arises. Please use judicious aim, as well.

So yeah...in over 10 years we've had probably the amount of assholes that the Corral used to have in one day. Can't beat that. We can also say the "f" word....I tend to be free in my speech, but even so, I try to curtail it and only use it as a magnifier for the sake of the sentence...and I'm thankful that we don't have the level of censorship that most other forums have.

We are blessed here. I hope this place can stand the test of time.

I'm kinda new here and this forum has help me with so much info and ideals, that this is my only car forum i use. I look at all the forums and threads here: new and old. So i thank the older members for all the wisdom and knowledge they leave and give to us newbies. I hope they can look past the few and see the many newbies who want to listen and learn.
How fast is fast?

While we're at it, I'd like to throw in a protest for warm beer, cold coffee, sinus infections, florescent lights in the wintertime, and people who simply can't drive in more than a dusting of snow. That is all.

In all fairness my coffee is usually cold by noon. I still drink it, I'm strange like that.

Well, I suppose I can overlook the cold coffee...I'm too lazy to get up and warm it up, I'll just grit my teeth, chug it down, and then grab a new cup.

As long as you don't drink your beer warm though. That's a cardinal sin. :D

No sir. The beer is ice cold at the warmest. As a matter of fact with the arctic weather here as of late my case of beer is buried in the snow next to the shop.

Thanks guys for taking care of the issue. A lot of the time if someone has an issue with another member it gets worked out without the admins. having to step in. Which we should be able to as adults. But in his case there was no other way. It was almost like he was daring you to ban him. I've always enjoyed this site and the people on it, hell I have quite a few of you as friends on facebook, that says a lot about the guys here. I do spend more time on facebook but it's nice to know this site is still here for us.

I haven't been around here very long to know of some of the people you oldster's are talking about.    But Vinnie said "It's still the best forum for me" and I have to agree with him on my behalf.  Others have said how useful it is for them and I again have to agree.  I am not now, nor will I ever probably completely mod out my car as I have chosen to drive the stock road or slightly less than stock to be honest.  But I thoroughly  enjoy the forum non the less.  for the ideas, the pics you good folks out there that are modding these cars out and sharing that experience as you are doing that i find very interesting.  I look forward each night to getting on the forum and looking at what is new.    I have come in contact with many that have things to share that I have a need for.    Bought several parts from the ones on this forum.  But mostly i'd have to say to be able to share with others my passion for these beautiful cars.    I too own a mustang and enjoy that car more than ever.  However I currently have two fox bodies birds now and have had a total of 6 in my lifetime so these cars have a spot in my heart that I won't ever be able to get out.  Hell, I'd buy another if I could find the right one that speaks to me.  I might have to sleep in it, but I love these cars and for what its worth love sharing this with all of you.  I hope we can come to a solution to this issue and get the ones talking again that have the knowledge that some of us here are looking for.

Tom isn't worth getting talking.  The board was perfectly fine before him and it will be perfectly without him.  Actually it will be a lot better with out him around from what I have seen.  Glad to see something being done about him.  I have been on this forum for years and left for awhile because this place seemed to be attracting a lot of tools.....  and not the useful kind.  Glad to see it seems to have settled back down a bit.

Fast Ed will be an asset to this board.  I know him from a local Mustang board and have dealt with him on buying and selling parts.  Stand up guy and knows his stuff.

Totally drawing a blank on IGAH. Good brainteaser I'll have to think about it for awhile!
As for the former...every time someone finds one of those on CL or posts a picture of one or I hear that endorsing brand mentioned I cannot help but immediately think of him and shake my head laughing. What a shiznitshow he was...

It's sad and strange that the mind associates items that strongly. Mainly BAD things, and the memories haunt you for years.

IGAH = "imgayashell" or some shiznit about like that. Go search his posts....hilarious, and still infuriating. Might've been before your time, maybe? Not sure...it's been some time since I stumbled across some of the shiznit he was involved in..LOL

Personally, I think IGAH was a board regular just having a little too much fun, but like I said...the goober had the rare ability to piss me off and make me laugh at the same time. That's a rare talent, in this world today...;)
