What is the normal pre-paint/body prep protocol regarding removal of the side moldings that are attached with adhesive....leave them on or remove?

2 sided tape was on mine and the ends that were plastic had been glued on....  every shop is different.....some take them off while others don't....he pulled mine before prep start I thought....have to look at pics.....

now that im back onto getting this thing done, and got my body man back in gear so to say, paint will be ready tomorrow and car will be given one last final look over and then off to the paint booth......finally........but all the delay has been on me.....after all, I did tell him to get all the others out of the way before he finishes mine......
