Wow! July 28, 2013, 01:44:56 AM So I purchased a Mustang parts car from a friend of mine. It had a 5 lug conversion front and rear. It had a HO 5.0 and an automatic tranny that I needed really quickly after mine had failed. Bought the car for $200. No title. Had a new neighbor move in across the street. Turns out her son-in law preformed the 5-lug conversion on the Mustang. He also performed much of the body upgrades to the Mustang. Now I get to find out the actual year of the Mustang (VIN missing in all locations). And details of the 5 lug conversion. I have converted the front 5 lug upgrade, but not the rear. Waiting for another parts car for TC rear end. 3.55's already set up is hard to pass up. Not to mention the other parts I can get from the TC. Will soon know what he had done for the proportioning valve. I am also wondering about the PCM that I had used for the HO upgrade. I know something is odd about it, because the check engine light will not glow regardless of what is wrong (the bulb is fine). Just thought ya'll might be interested in the developments in my build.
