Well that is what i thought. 10A is totally within reason and around what fans i use. That is a good setup!!! By the way some of the newer chevys fans start out slowly and gradually speed up. They have some type of limiter built in to the controller. Never researched it. Just saying!!! Thanks for sharing this info!!

I personally would just wire in a fused toggle switch.

On my buddies onld 89 4 baanger stang, we picked up a fan controller for $16 or so at autozone that had adjustable pots and a readiator sensor. I know the radiator sensor isn't super accurate, but with the pots, we set it up so the first fan came on when the thermostat opened, and the second one when the temp got a bit above the middle of his guage.

As long as the car was moving, the second fan never kicked on.
