44,000 mile 87 Thunderbird Sport

If I had an extra $9K this would be mine right now. The thing is only a 20 minute drive from me. Mint, mint, mint. A 5.0 and a Sport. Interesting that it has power recline but cloth seats.

, that's nice.

Turbines, a clean, freshly rebuilt HO, tint, and fix that scuff on the rear bumper. Done.

No, no, no. This car is way to mint to do anything to but preserve it. No mods, nothing. It deserves to be kept as a time piece:D.

No you do it like I'm doing the red car. ;)

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC

EDIT You know I just noticed..."Viper alarm system" :punchballs::flame: I sure as hell hope it's one of oh what like 15% of vehicles and it was installed RIGHT....if I were to go look at it and and see a rat's nest of SCOTCH LOKS under that dash I'd throw my arms up in the air and leave immediately.

I couldn't see any errant wiring in the engine bay nor a loudspeaker or something, which is usually pretty blatantly visible along with bright red or yellow wires just sort of strewn about. Granted that's if it had the alarm sys put in back in IT's time, 80s or early 90s LOL. Now? They're all integrated to your horn. Either everything's hidden well or it uses the car's horn, in which case at least the mess might only be inside. No easier way to ruin a beautiful engine bay than with random wires and a goofy plastic trumpet horn.

Oh it's there. I can see it right behind the radiator shroud. I'd remove it though since it's not factory.

It's expensive but I think it's worth it. How many low mile, pretty much unmolested 5.0 cars with a lot of options are left? Not many. It's pretty easy to find 3.8 cars but they are usually low option and who wants a 3.8?

I have a theory as to why there are so many low option 3.8 cars left in good shape. My theory is that the original owners always wanted a T-bird but could never afford one. They were finally able to (barely) afford one in the 80's and so they bought a low option 3.8 car. They took care of the car and babied it and so that's why so many low option 3.8 cars are left. Those who could afford the more expensive cars drove them till they were used up. That's why it's hard to find a loaded up 5.0 car.
