Wow, sort of a Menudo-esque band, huh?

I used to be a pretty decent bass player in high school, spent a summer at Berklee for fun (one of the perks of living on the edge of Boston) and played bass for a metal band for a couple of years, nothing serious, just local teenage fun.

I still have my bass as well as a cheapo sg style guitar and an Ovation 12 string acoustic electric (I love the sound). Unfortunately I don't really know how to do much on guitar so I mostly hand em to my friends and say play, lol.

And yes, I was the total goth metal chick:

Then I found cars lmao

I as also a lead singer in another few bands.. Got a 3 octave vocal range...

Ive always heard new england is the area for metal. That's where a lot of the "big" metal bands come from it seems.

Oh yeah, I've got 4 octave range. I  can sing from bass to soprano. (without getting kicked in the junk). We'll see how long that lasts though. I know your voice is much better while young.

I've been trying to start a band for years, but its just hard to find people good enough to play with and still that you can get along with, while still wanting to play the same style of music. There's just not a lot of people around here that play bass guitar or drums, and not many voacalists. My perfect spot would be as a backup voacalist while still playing lead guitar. Thats right where I would want to be. Sort of a Jerry Cantrel type thing. Oh, I love AIC too.

I can actually match every note from G and up on my guitar. Thats how I figured that out. Going below A though my voice gets a lot quieter. I can hit them, just not loud. Its for a softer sound. I would love to be able to sound like that guy from FFDP haha. But, like I said, my place is on the guitar. I might have the ability to sing, buy ability and talent are not always the same thing. lol

I was thinking, maybe we should all get together at the next CJ and give CAT"JAM" and whole new meaning:rollin:

There's a few other people I know that play that haven't posted in here.

I still love the goth look but I just don't have the time or patience for it now, lol. Now it's just when I go out
