Oh Boy, 20th Floor Mats and Kit on Ebay

wow,

Well, i have  20th bag / kit incomplete i could let go of.  This kit he has is nothing more than whats sitting in my trunk.

however,,,,,,,,,,someone needs to save me from myself on those floor mats.

Id pay a health price for them but thats not exactly what i expected. New is unheard of.

anyone have mats for sale?

I sent the seller a message.  No matter how you dice it, the qty of 20ths running the road today represent the total people who "might" be interested in a purchase.

That's the guy that outbid me on those same mats two years ago. Only by like 20 bucks too, at the last minute. He got em for about $160. I too want those reallly bad lol. My passenger side is good but the driver's side one is pretty shot. I took em out long ago to at least not let em get any worse.

Spoke to the seller today and he remembered doing battle with you.  He wanted you to know that it was more than just you and him but another guy that drove the price to outter space.

BTW,, this guy has a few NOS parts for our cars in the box.

On the 20th matt topic,,
the new matts in the box shipped from

"Auto Custom Carpets Inc"

and were assigned FoMoCo PN#4D47-732.

He also says his 20th (dads) came with a factory Kenwood Cd changer and thinks he still has it.

I know I asked this before, but can you other 20th people go out and look in your trunk ,, on the right (pass)hand side of the floor upper ledge near the tail light, see if there are holes in the carpet where something may have been mounted.


Interesting factoid here but this guy knows an elderly guy with a low miles 20th ,,,, as in less than 15k on it just sitting.

On a side note, the seller may soon have the one crown jewl for the 2Oth up for sale, as in you know what the crown jewel would be dont you ?

so I have  full set of 20th turbines and so does this seller,, we were both asking why you run the 10holes? I think i remember you swapping them but that may be someone else.

the seller of the matts is joking about how I should keep the matts in the box,,,  Im not hearing any of that cause they are gonna go in the car but each matt be in its own hard plastic sleeve so to speak.  This is if we can arrive at a figure because as it stands now, and from what I have learned, he has something else I am far more interested in.

So Paul,, just sell me your matts, and then put that money up against the new ones. I dont have the disipline required to keep them in the original package.

that is some neat stuff! i bought everything pertaining
to a 25th anniv car years ago.the kit ,mats,mldgs, lamps
wheel centers,emblems,etc and still have it all.bad thing is
the car i was to buy was totalled a day before i went to
get it. mint, low mileage, 1 85 year old owner. at least he
didnt get hurt. he did give me 2 of the jackets still in the bag.

nope , no side deals at all.

I seriously considered buying them but the price he had was just a feeler i guess.  I contacted the seller on the 9th and he called on the 10th.  For that much money, im not doing a thing till i know theres someone out there for real.  when i bid on something , i generally just contact the seller and let them know i dont do paypal but im more than happy to do M/O or wire to make the deal and basically to make contact as well as to isnure this is ok with them.  Ive never bought a thing from anyone here or ebay without talking to them.

I told him i wasnt able to consider that "buy it now" price but please call me back after the auction if they dont sell and let me know what you need for them.  sometime between that call and mid day today, the auction ened.  I got a call around 11:30am 12june today EST and i asked him what what going on. I suspected he did find the 20th up near him and a deal had been made so all those goodies are gonna get put to good use and that was the reason for stopping the auction.
Instead he called to make me an offer so i took it.  click click submit and wire transfer complete.  I will see what happens early next week as i should be getting packages. 

I didnt bid cause I knew i would not pay that much. He said the auction wasnt doing nothing so he took it down.  Maybe thats a good thing on ebay,, i dono.  I didnt realize the wheels were that cheap,, told paul about it to, and they are still available.  I have two sets and the seller and I just didnt want to hassle with them now.

what purpose does this serve?
stop expressing usless key strokes when a man has already explained what happened.  there is nothing to this, it is what it is and nothing more.  No trivial persuit, no crime , nothing.  You have called me out three times.... stop.  Theres too much documented to question the implications you have accused me of.  The someone at this point has been previously defined so its a useless application of the pr0noun and points to me as well as your calling me a liar, cheat, sneak and sleeze.
