just not continuing the discusion since it isnt getting anywere

just noticed something this is from the ADD

have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that I will sell as an entire car for $800.00 or best offer; or

(((((((((((((((((( I WILL PART THIS CAR OUT.)))))))))))))))))))))

Has a good 2.3 turbo with a 5 speed transmission. The interior is good , so are the hood and the trunk deck. It is a little rough around the edges; however, it would make a good project car.

even if i dont buy it who says it will save the car.

Part the TC, and put the 2.3T in your Mustang. It'll be a fun little car, just upgrade the fuel pump also. Seen and rode in 2.3T Mustangs before, wicked fast!!!  Have Fun!:burnout::burnout::burnout:

I'd say don't worry too much about other assholes from school... they won't mean shiznit once you graduate.  Build your car the way you want to.  I know your struggle though... I drive a Neon every day....

here's the point 93 stang....these cars, unlike bellybutton, dime-a-dozen mustang's, are getting rarer by the day and mustang/merkur and other's are raping perfectly good cars to steal the motor's.  Sort of like the puppiesanese cutting of shark fins and throwing them back in the sea. Those boys think it's OK but we don't.  It is disrespect to the marque. People here are perfectly willing to save you some mad cash by selling you the motor you need in order to preserve a potentially good, rebuildable t-bird, not to mention the wealth of knowledge here building a 2.3t motor.  Now it is up to you...be childish and carry on, g off people , or listen to some old farts with some pretty  good advise.

93stang, I'd find out first what condition the car is in before you decide to buy it.  If you can get engine/tranny/ecm/wiring/rear from someone on here cheaper then I would do that because it will probably be cheaper that way.  It'll educate you a bit in this wierd world of fox cars when you're all done with it.

Just buy it. When ever there are nice parts for these cars, no one buys them. This is the land of $500 clunkers overall. Some people its different. Others bought there cars brand new and fell in love with them. I personally drive these cars because there cheap. If the price jumped up to $1000 for the car I drive now, this would be the last one I would drive.

These cars are not rare. They made turbo coupes. Everyone already rapes them on the rear end, the springs and spidles as well as interior. And every single peice can be bought from another car.

If you have all the money to buy what ever parts for your car you want, then do it. A 2.3 turbo would be cool in a mustang, but unless your going to spend real money on parts, you may be better off with a 5.0.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

you've come full circle.  :flip:

seems like someone (you) should have sat back for a moment and asked himself
"why is it i am the only one on this side of the fence"

a kind and gentle person you were,, then you flip flopped.  Your not alone,, dont feel bad because it happened to about 55% of you recently.

He's gonna do what he's gonna do.  It is what it is.  I think i am better off not knowing this happens to a nice bird because I agree with the majority here.

If he's going to part it out and junk it, you might as well. I just so happen to be one of those people who hates seeing Mustang guys destroy our cars for their benefit. One day I'll buy a rare Mustang and tear it up so they understand...

Scott, it's just that there's two things I dislike:  People jumping all over someone, basically telling them they're not welcome here.  And people assuming from tiny pictures that that TC is worth saving... no one knows what condition the body is in on that thing.  Oh well... I'm done with this thread anyway.

i will happily let you guys know that im not buying this one which the only problem is that the front fenders are rusted easily replaced.

im buying one closer to my house that is a junker and would take a good $5000-8000 to fix.

Well to be honest I'm sure you can find all the parts you need/want for cheaper than buying a car. Just a wayward thought.
