Thanks for the compliments. I like the Snowflakes and went with them over 10 holes or Pony wheels (which I was also considering) because they are a unique Thunderbird wheel, instead of being something used on Mustangs. I think the car looks 1000% better than it did with the 14" 8 holes.

As for how clean the Snowflakes are they weren't like that when I bought them. I got them from FLSTCI71 last October and they were in good shape (straight, not bent, good center caps with out dings ect) but the clear coat was all chipped and crazed to hell and in some spots the aluminium was stained. To make the wheels look as good as they do required the following:

Aircraft Stripper
80, 120, 180, 220, 300, 400, 500, and 800 grit sand paper
Mother's Aluminium polish

I stripped all the clear coat off of each wheel then sanded the wheel with each one of the grits of sandpaper. It took all of the machiene marks out (the lines that make the wheel look like a vinyl record) and sanded out all the scratches. Then I polished the wheels to a bright but not chrome like apperance. Total time per wheel: a very long 3-4 hours (I did all the sanding by hand :punchballs:)

Yes the car is real ;) and that clean. It's that clean because it only gets driven 2-3 times a week, in the warm months (April-Oct), and only when there is no rain or water on the ground. Plus after every drive it gets dusted off, the engine bay is wipped down, and the floor mats are shaken out to keep dirt off of them. It's a PITA but it looks good doesn't it? :D

Those PRC shock tower covers add to the clean look.  My under hood is clean, but not THAT clean.  That rivals my Mustang and perhaps even surpasses that.  Kudos ;)

Looks great, I don't usually like snowflakes, but they look good on there. I guess because they're so clean.

X2, I hate snowflakes, but they are an improvment over the 8 holes....

There's a guy somewhere with a TC that's got every aluminum part on it polished to a mirror shine.... including the 'flakes... that must've taken a while.

Gorgeous car.

Looks realllllly good. I think the wheels pop with the lighter shade, kinda adds balance, if you will. Very nice

get some ford wheel caps. No offense, but I dislike all the tbird logo stuff that gets throw all over these cars sometimes. Not that its a bad thing, but it makes the car look busy, and like its trying to show off. Your car dosen't need that.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

It's not that great of a car. I still need to get the 21 year old paint redone. You can't see it in the photos but there are some little scratches and dings in the paint in a few places. I want to redo it but at the same time if it was repainted I'd probably be afraid to drive it.

I like the T-bird logo. To me the Ford center caps belong on a Mustang. After all there are no external Ford logos on the car ;)

Don't drive it every day. You'll never be able to keep it as clean as I do if it's a dd. There is no way I could keep my 95 as clean as my 88 as I drive the 95 every day. When you finish school and can get another car you can baby your Sport all you want ;)
