o2 sensors and air pump...

Is there any relation between the o2 sensors and how much air the air pump will blow out? When i reinstalled my o2's it seemed like my air pump pumped out more air then without them. Never really noticed it before...:hick:

how would you know if your air pump was pumping out more or less?

you said your pump pumped more air without o2's. i was wondering how you compared the two. like why you thought that. im just curious, cause i couldnt tell you how much air my pump blew out.  i think the pump blows more the faster the engine revs

But it does sound a little confusing - the air hose is still connected - i ran my engine a little before installing my o2's and put my hand over the air hose and did it again after i installed them and at idle it seems to push out more air. Its not a problem or antyhing i was just curious as to whether the o2's had any play in that, i mean i dont see why they would but i am not very educated on the EEC computer system so who am i to say anyway.

oh ok. that makes more sense. i was very confused reading that was all, that why i asked. im not very knowledgable about air pumps, but since im already here, the pump itself pushes more or less depending on engine RPM, the rest is controlled by vacuum.
