door lock actuator

my passenger door lock actuator is dead in the 84.....  can i get one from any 83-88 fox or is it specific to certian years (i'd have to go searching through door panels to fing it won't fit

The actual Ford ones are no better than these.  The last Ford one I bought didn't last 2 years....and cost $139 for ONE

I have two in great shape from my '88 T-Bird doors.$30.00 shipped for them both.

thanks for the link, i appreciate it......  i just stumbled on my answer at coolcats.....  i guess all fomoco solenoids are basically the same plug, they just have different replacable rods.....  thanks
