I've only seen Estate Green on Ford SUV's (Mostly Navigators) and 1 model of the Lincoln (based on what I've seen locally) .It MAY be close to a sage green.I've had a couple of colors run through my top 3 list, and I wanted something that looks great, not so eye popping that it's the first car recognized, yet can still attract some attention.Hard to explain.

Does a light gray interior look good with a green exterior?

I think it would look killer with the color green that's on that SVO.

Here's a wrecked sage green four-eye 'Bird (this was my buddy's car, it was originally "light" sage green and he painted it sage green):

...And here is a "light" sage green T-Bird. This is the colour the wrecked car above originally was, and is also the colour my first T-Bird was. This is actually similar to the Estate green Vinnie is talking about (a light metallic green with a slight gold tint). This is not a photo of my old 'Bird (mine didn't have the right mirror and had a charcoal interior, and had the base hubcaps) but I have no photos of that car, so I kept this photo as a facsimile:

Excellent choice Vinnie.  Classy and understated.  Nothing wrong with keeping the color subtle and letting the craftsmanship do the talking.  If you've built a nice car, it doesn't have to be neon orange to get the attention it deserves.

I still like the sage green, but what about Highland Green?

I'm having a hard time picturing it with the black moldings. What rims are you going with? Are you going to tint the windows? I think it's going to look real good when it's finished. I think I'm not the only one that wants to see some more progress pics.

It'll have the window trim, door locks, door handles in black, and the chrome Cobra R rims with my custom center caps.I watched the banner and looked at all the cars up there,I went to NATO and looked at all of those, and decided I wanted something that wasn't like anyone else's,yet still has a "Built by Ford" look over all.I really didn't want a red, gold,or blue Bird (Had those),and I don't want to copy anyone else.Hence the reason I modified my intake the way I did.I hope that it will attract more second looks than first looks. It's supposed to be a high only in the 40's tomorrow, but I'll try to get some daylight pics. Here are the center caps for the wheels and a couple more..........

The caps....

the engine.....

The car when I got it to the house (the wheels were my extra set)....
