I'm with Chuck W on this one... KEEP THAT BUBBLE HATCH!  BH Capri's are pretty rare site anymore. Don't butcher it up! Besides, it makes them look different from the zillion Mustangs out there.

I remember when they first came out I thought they were weird looking, but now they seem quite contemporary.

I used to have an 1984 Capri bracket car, and seeing this makes me really miss it. :(

Nice rig...

how is just changing a hatch butchery?  four bolts and it is out, and swapped back if I desire....
and the front end, hood, and fender flares, and quarter glass,:hick:  are also a big part of looking different from all the mustangs...

but the hatch and back end are ick!...  I really like the way my wifes '82 looks with the stang style (stock that year) backend.:D

It will stay carbed though, I will be dropping my RPM Air Gap off at GHOST's to get powdercoated clear, then throwing that on, with a Vacuum secondary 650 carb.

I just talk to the guy a little while ago, I gotta pick it up next sat.  the car ran low 11's with drag shocks and slicks.

maybe with a 250 shot or if the car weighs 2500 pounds. The car is very clean don't see those much anymore, I use to see a black one around for a little but i think the yard got it.

Are you trying to own one of every fox body?

Beautiful looking Capri.  Always thought they looked better than Mustangs.  Nice score

You better not be getting rid of the bubble hatch.....

Bubble-back Capris posted slightly higher top speeds than Mustangs of the same year.

Man is it fast!  I couldnt resist dropping it off on some country raods out at my buddies place and taking them for a thrill ride....  I have never driven anything this fast before...  THANKS PATRICK... WHAT A RIDE! :bouncesmi

Stopped at the Wendys on top of the mountain to grab a quick bite to eat and had some idiot in a ricered out Nissan Fairlady, ask if it was a four cylinder still... "because he seen the SVT badges and figured it was a 4 banger"  WTF?!?!?  must be good crack...

then had a bunch of guys ask me what kind of car it is at the gas station.  LOL, Im loving the attention already. :bouncesmi

and yes...  it did have a shot of Nitrous on it, but I think it is well capable of running low 12's on the motor as it sits...  my white stang could do it, and I KNOW this car would kill it in a race...
