Yeah that car's begging for a TC header panel, and slimline fog lights in the air dam (just keep your stock air dam, too much of a PITA to swap.

If he's doing the header panel its only 14 or so more nuts. why not just do it while the header panel is already off.

I did my own thing last time and to think what you say could stop me yeah right. Whatever mods get done to the car will be for some reason or many reasons. Some of us take risks others of us don't but thats life. This is why i like these cars after you save them form rust i think you should be able to fix them up and make them nice Ford gave us a few nice things but for the most part these cars stpen 15 are not that fun and custom is the way to go.

Well he's just really extreme and so people don't like that. He doesn't go along with the conventional ideas of custom auto designs. The way I see it is just as he has just described it. It's NOT rusting away in a syard, and it's NOT in the hands of some punk-ass loser who wishes he/she had a MAD TYTE JDM and instead has this due to inheritance or something like that. He'll nurse and care for it like the rest of us do, through good and bad. It might look wacky but it will be in GOOD shape and running and wild in the streets (ahem ahem ;) ) like it should be.

Paint it crank it up and FIREWALL it and don't let off until all the rubber's been ripped the hell off the tires dude. :headbang:
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

Got a Optima RED top battery for dealer cost plus a free Battery box got the column shifter adjusted and a new spring for the E-Brake and ording the 3.73 speedo gear tomorrow.

Also got to get a new belt for the car soon adding my old flex fan on to the car and a oil change and voltage gauge next week.

Don't really like the kenwood CD player so i might get a new pioneer deck and sell the kenwood for a few extra dollars.

Car needs a little bit of touch up paint has 1 dent on the hood and the passanger side door has a lot and lot of small dents but you can't see them unless your a few feet away.

Mabey you could add these!!

Seriously though, its a good example of a decent thunderbird. Don't screw it up.

I sometimes think that the lady in the SUV hit you because she saw the paint scheme and freaked out, kind of like a bull running at a red cape.

Yeah I hate that I wanna say it was what THREE or FOUR years ago they outlawed driving with a cellphone in this state....I still see people doing it ALL the time. Hell I see state troopers doing it!!!!!

That and you're supposed to stop at crosswalks if someone so much as lays a toe near it from the sidewalk. Nobody so much as moves their foot off the right pedal. Once I'm 20 feet from one I slow to an effin crawl, and I walk out into the crosswalks in front of cars all the time. If their window is down and I'm having a bad day I might even flip out on em. People are assfaceholes.
