Simple question.

Can i use a fox stang motor and trans mounts. If not, have any1 found a solution to putting polyurathane mount in a cat or bird? (86 ls 5.0 cougar)

Yes,you can use tthe Stang stuff.Your motor mounts are the same as the Stang's.The '87/'88's are different.
'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

No, you can't use the Stang stuff. '86 has the same style mounts as the 87-88, which are different than Mustangs.

So much for it being a simple question :hick:

As for poly mounts, ChuckW makes and sells some very nice 86-88 poly mounts. See his listing in the "Vendor's section"

My mistake.I thought that the earlier motor mounts were identical to the stangs.I feel like a bad person.I'll go ahead and punish myself for the bad info.I feel so dirty.

The earlier (83-85) are the same as the Mustangs, the later (86-88) are not. ;)
