42 speakers and only a 130 amp alternator?

Engine also sounds underpowered...

Basically just something someone gets to show off in is all.

It only sounds underpowered. Most of those are 5 and 6 speed automatics. They will make peak torque through almost the entire 3,500rpm powerband, and not have a problem moving something that big. You have to think, those are the same engines in a lot of large moving trucks, that weigh about 42,000 pounds loaded.
It's Gumby's fault.

25,999 GVWR? On a single axle? Did I read that right? If so, there are roads around here that you wouldn't be allowed to drive on half of the year (road ban).

Nobody ever picks up on my sarcasm.

Some of us do, laugh, and go on. If they don't, o well.

That is obviously a truck for display purposes. I realy don't think anyone plans on using it as a daily driver. I love the interior of the truck. Looks pretty comfy, and room for the in-laws as well. :hick:

looks like the 98? f650 I used to drive at work everyday with a cab instead of bins and a bucket. I love that truck. It gets better gas miliage then any other truck even close to its size...

Thats with a gas engine though...

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I oughta show you a picture of my truck at work if you think that yours is scary. I got a gigantic metal bumper over 3 feet deep with bars with ladders on each side and a mesh metal rack above the hood and windsheild.

If there were ever a zombie invasion i would love to take that truck out. Its a scary mofookie at 75 mph bouncing off the 4000 rmp rev limiter with both tires hanging over each side of the lanes on the freeway.

Great novelty from the outside...  Inside; a bunch of spare parts from 1980+ thrown together and or recovered?  Looks like a fleet truck outfitted with a lego interior :D

Ford's acting a little wacky lately, but not that crazy. This isn't Ford's creation, it's a SEMA truck.
