personally i love 94/95 mustang shorty headers and H-pipe over  the long tubes headers are  not worth the pain long tube headers can be.
i have had both and found that long tube don't alwise clear stuff they say will(like auto over stick or linkage of auto ). plus the long tubes like to hang lower than the car so they get smash up more . which cause air restriction  .
 the 94/95 mustang shorty header have a bigger  over the 86to93 made shorty. which means the 94/95 have less air restriction  where the H-pipe bolt to over the  86thru 93 one.

long tube are great headers for racing ,where your in the higher RPM range all the time.

for streat;
 i would go with shorty because they work best in the lower and mid RPM range like you need on the STREET!
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

V6 = juvenile delinquency!

Yeah I think I'll just grab an H pipe to go along with my current shorty headers.  Thanks for the info guys.

I just started a 2nd job and have been making a lotta money lately.  I'm tempted to get the cam and springs now, but I think I'll just get an OR H pipe.

You'll need all those goodies to make up for the weight!  :)

Ok well I've finally ordered pretty much everything else that's needed for the project.  All I have left to get now are a couple of gaskets and the fuel pump kit, then we're 100% ready to rock; but at least by tomorrow I'll have everything needed to get all the main engine stuff together in preparation for the swap.  I hate that there hasn't been much progress in a few weeks, but that's how it goes sometimes.  With the big increase in income I've gotten with a 2nd job, I've been tempted to get a cam and valve springs, but I'm undecided.  I'll have to see how much I have after I finish gathering all the necessities for the project.  I want to get the driveshaft clunk fixed while the engine is out, so I need money for that too.

Been a while since the last update...still getting all the last odds and ends that have popped up and/or been forgotten.  Got the lower intake cleaned, got the valve covers I've always wanted, and an offroad H pipe, ARP head bolts, new distributor cap and rotor, and a 255lph Walbro fuel pump.  Just gotta get some rocker shims and valve cover bolts now.

It's lookin a bit better than it did when I first brought it home just over a year ago:

Since I will finally have some time on Saturday, I'm hopin dad and I get pretty much everything bolted on the engine so all that's left is the rocker arm adjustments and getting the EGR bored out.

I've always loved those valve covers!  Looks like you needed an intake spacer too.  Just ordered mine from summit today along with a 65mm EGR.

EDIT:  Wait, ANOTHER cool lookin Cobra intake plaque!?!?!?!  You gotta let me in on your secrets!!!
