vintage aftermarket front spoiler? February 04, 2008, 11:27:42 PM Maybe Racer Walsh or JBA produced a front spoiler for the the 83-86s. Does anyone have a pic, or maybe a line on where one is? Quote Selected

Maybe that's because they don't sell it now, or because my skilz are weak. Quote Selected

Dont know if that helps in your search.Quote from: ipsd;202171i remember a place called mas in the back of hot rod and such that say they have them. i've never found them online.MAS does not have a web site. I always found that funny that they have run ads in Hot Rod and other simlar mags all these years, yet never set up even a simpe web site with that same 1 page ad, plus maybe a few pictures.Bob Myers Quote Selected
vintage aftermarket front spoiler? Reply #6 – February 05, 2008, 10:32:27 PM Thanks Martin, we may have a winner (google key word search "thunderbird + kamei + spoiler"):http://www.cardomain.com/ride/427017If that's not it, it's close. I seem to remember there not being fog light provisions, but hey, it's been a while. Guess I'm going to have to dig through old stuff, see if I can find it. Whoever it was, RW, JBA etc, they claimed improved aerodynamics and a higher top speed Quote Selected
vintage aftermarket front spoiler? Reply #7 – February 06, 2008, 02:43:29 AM Does anyone have a phone number or other contact info for MAS? Couldn't find them in the current issue of HRM, although there are some nice solutions for erectile disfunction and how to "increase [one's] shag-appeal: scientifically!" Quote Selected

There is not provision for the cut out for the fog lights on the turbo (they might have made one, but I don't have a turbo.), however, there was a nice little recess where I was able to mount some after market driving lights. (They are Catz MSR, made by FET.) I needed more light than what the headlights produced. Old sealed beams with blackouts over them produced about the same amount of light on the road as a flash light with batteries that were almost dead. I am not currently running the blackouts anymore, but I did do the H4 headlight conversion. Quote Selected

vintage aftermarket front spoiler? Reply #10 – February 10, 2008, 12:39:53 AM Digging through some old mags I found more info. Pacific Auto made a complete air dam and spoiler kit. They don't appear to be in business now. Also found the gull wing story and a Borla dyno test. Quote Selected
vintage aftermarket front spoiler? Reply #11 – February 12, 2008, 09:10:27 PM IIRC, way back in the 80s Ford offered two versions. One with Fog light provisions and one without. Quote Selected
