Ok, I think I sent private messages to everyone who wants a calendar.  If you want a calendar and haven't seen a pm from me, let me know.
The latest pm has the address where you can send payment.  I sent them out in batches of five so they weren't tailored to any particular member.
There's about 27 or so members who want calendars and I don't have Excel or Word so I'm trying to keep this all straight in a notepad document.

I need help.  I have all the large stores near me, office max, staples, walmart, target.  I've searched web sites but can't find anything yet.
I need to buy about 30 rigid mailers that can hold the 11x17 calendar so the mailer should probably be a minimum of 12x18.  Most of these things come in packs of 25, 30, 50 etc.  I only need about 30 and the cost can't be more than a few dollars per mailer - basically no more than $75 for the whole pack.
Any ideas or links to products are appreciated.

Please no posts that don't contribute, like "that sucks" or "I have a store here, too bad they aren't in Maryland" and things like that.

The reason I've been requesting tight control on posts is because I have to go through these posts to be sure I have accounted for everyone that wants a calendar and too much other conversation makes it difficult.

BUT, if anyone has a good idea on making my own mailer or a link to a particular product offered for sale in a store, let me know in this thread so others can see in case they were thinking the same thing.

This place has a bit of variety.

I'll search eBay for something cheaper.

Uline was the first place I looked, but they didn't offer the stay-flats in the proper size at any less than qty's of 100. They have some padded mailers that you can get 50 of....but those aren't rigid.

Well, there goes another $100.  I went to the post office, Staples, looked around several websites like Staples and Office Max, and Uline seemed to be my best option regarding cost, time, weight, etc.

Might spend $200 more on shipping these out.

Then I suggest people include a little extra in their payments to help cover the extra cost.

Karl please adjust the price accordingly. I don't want you taking a hit on this, you've already went well out of your way (and putting up the money without hesitation...) to get the calendars approved, printed, and now packaged and shipped...

Thanks for everyone's concern.  I think/hope it will be close.  If I'm $20 or $30 in the hole, consider it a donation to "the club."  If it gets higher, well I hope it won't.

The Uline flat mailers were listed at $79 but then got me with the $15 shipping charges.  The mailers should be here tomorrow though.  After going through this, I can't complain too much about shipping charges

On a positive note, the calendars came in today.  I flipped through each page of each calendar and found that 10 of them had scratches on the cover and December's layout.  I called Cafepress and they were awesome.  They are going to replace the flawed calendars as quickly as possible.

If they replace them without requiring the damaged ones to be returned, you could sell those at a discounted price to offset your cost overruns. That would keep everyones costs down.
