I forgot, that's another gripe I had!

They do that stupid final challenge and make them climb over a wall, swim, climb 30 feet, and then expect them to do the handbike thing? Sheesh!

On the old show, the "equalizer" treadmill thing and the handbike were at the beginning of the course, because they were the hardest/most strenuous parts of the course. Now they put one of them in the middle, and one at the very end.

And yeah, there's no penalties if you fall off or screw up anything.

Lame.

I don't think this show will last longer than one season, I don't think it has the appeal the old one did.

i feel that it'll last longer than one season b/c with hulk being involved and the fact that he signed a 20 year contract with wwe during the filming of that hogan knows best show, i bet the wwe has something to do with this show.  that being said i think there might be revisions b/c right now it seems like they're using what they have, if i remember correctly the final challenge in the older one was hauled out and set up basically as an entirely different thing.

honestly though, i feel the tredmill thing is retarded with the rope, the older one didnt have the rope.  but thats the best part b/c i laugh through that entire part.  its like someone just ran the 300m thats a smoker and now he's got to climb that thing and you gotta be quick, those last 2 episodes i saw they could barely do it (i guess thats why it has a rope now?) thats the best part of the show other than "the assault" part, thats always been my fav.

I agree with you on the hand bike John..... of course, I can't say much, I sure as hell couldn't do it at anytime! lol

The commercials are tiring too, and they always show the same ones at least 3 or 4 times during the show....and here, they are all about gambling online. I get so sick of it.

I'm sure Vincent McMahon does have his fingers in this somehow, it seems like it's right up his alley. From initial impressions, it wouldn't surprise me.

As far as the treadmill goes, it looks to me like they made it steeper and/or faster.

Either that or people are just so tired by the time they get to it that they can't climb it, I dunno.
