Hey New to The forum!

How you guy doing? Im new to the forum here but not new to the fox body t-bird! I got my first t-bird when I was 16 it was a 88 turbocoupe. I Bought it for 700 bucks it was blue on blue with an auto. With really bad paint. After two months I killed the tranny. Me and my mother went around and around about doing the t5 swap. She won and in went a rebuilt tranny. Two month later I killed it again. SO I got to do things my way. t5 swap! I drove the car form a good time. But it started havin all kinds of wiring problems. So after fighting with all the jimmy rigging in the car I give up. It was as if the guy I bought it from rewired the whole car. So I parked it. A few month later I bought another 88TC blk on blk 5speed loaded. For 700 buck again. This car seemed awesome. the day I bought it broke down lol. It had a bad distubiter gear. I put a new one in it and was on my way. Well two weeks later head cracked and bent a valve. The car sat for 6 month and I finely bought a new head put it on. The  head shop sucked. The car ran for 30 sec to a min and the timing belt broke. Yes new timing belt. One of the cam bearing wasn't straight. the head shop wouldn't fix it. They said that I didn't lube the cam. But I did so whatever. I got the car running. I put a t3 on her 3" single exhust all the way back. gill's boost valve in and a few other mods. Then oneday on the highway it spun a bearing. That was it for me I sold the car for 700 bucks. I have been with out a t-bird for 3 years now. I'm now 21 I still love the car to death and with I never sold it. O yeah its now in a junk yard the guy I sold it went to jail and it went to a junk yard. I about cryed when I saw it there. But now I bought a new 88 tc. It needs soom work that is ok with me. I have plan on keeping this one. Its has a bad auto tranny but it run great. I hope to have it on the road buy the holldays. So there is my storie. Here is a few pic of my 2nd tc. I don't have pic of my new one will soon thow.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

looks like those were offset a little, but I don't see how 14" would fit...my turbines barely cleared the TC setup on mine, and I have the E7 cast wheels...

Well I will not say im a 100% sure. But that was the only size they came in to fit the 4 lug. It was like 3 years ago! And I bought the rims way before that. Cuz I had them on my first t-bird. So that was like 4-41/2 years ago.
