Colin McRae is dead

I don't know how many of us follow Rally (WRC) at all, but this came as quite a shock when I read it this morning. He's been a personal favorite since I first took interest in Rally, his driving was awe inspiring, and something to aspire to, and was a hero for his accomplishments.

I became interested in Colin McRae after playing some of the Colin McRae rally racing games by Codemasters. They were awesome racing games and sparked my interest in rally racing. I felt sadened by the news of his death and even more so after learning that his 6 year son was killed in the incedent also.

He and dale earnhardt were my idles in racing. Its a shame.....

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Even worse, it was his five year old son and his six year old best friend, as well as Colin's childhood friend all together in the crash. Tragic doesn't even begin to describe this.

Indeed i was also not in to rally racing till i played some of the code master Collin McRae games. I never really followed the sport actively but find it more challenging than Nascar so it gets my respect knuckles.
