Haha yeah!!!!! Alright glad that one could stay in the hands of someone on the boards!!!

Thats one sechsy cat. Whole thing is gorgeous. Good move, you're probably right in the sale thread...not like there's gonna be too many more chances to find one!

Im STILL waiting for that one to come back on ebay, that had like a couple thousand miles or something. Just to save the pictures/page. I remember this thing....it looked like a full resto had just been done. EVERY surface painted and shiny, even the underside! Spotless exhaust, everything. Couldn't believe it. Ad claimed it was only rolled around at the show ground, won trophies etc. Just wanna see it again.

Keep us updated, hope the trip goes well!!!!

I talked to a sewing shop in town and she said just get the seat cover off and the arm rest cover off and she can make it all good again.  I showed her the pics ,,she even quoted it to about 75 bux to redo the bad areas and  "dirt" match it to blend in the age.  I dono what dirt match means but it involves a die they use after the average color is scanned.

I have to say,, i am kind of excited.  This gives me motivation on my other coug "sylvia" so now im not in a huge rush.  This puts me back on the road with a cougar and i think that will make my work life a little more tolerable.  Me and the white coug have about 290k miles together and shes never really gave me much trouble.  The worse trouble is my pulling the 3.8 and piddling around with things that were well enough left alone.  I guess thats the way it goes sometimes.  Now with the trip up to ohio, the plans are to drive up on friday and wait around for the call to hook up at the way point.

I tried everything possible to not involve the wife in taking a road trip but it cant be avoided.  I even tried to do a one way rental but that would add up to a dollar per mile for the rental return fee.  Oh well.  We have friends up there anyway.  The wife will prob stay for a few days but im gonna have to boogie on down the road back home and head out on work stuff.

I'm just glad it's going to a good home. Hate to see Aaron getting out of the Cougars, but I suspect he'll be back.

Good deal J, I look forward to seeing it at Cat Jam next year. :D

BTW: While you're in Columbus, gimme a call and we'll have lunch. :)
