Eric look at this vent window weatherstriping

i got some of my order today and soposedly this is the vent window peice for the ranger also i was under the impresion this was sold as a pair but im not sure if it is the right stuff and its to dark to walk out and check  but does this look like what you had ..and the qurter window peice worked great now the passenger floor shouldent fill with water  im going to miss the look on my wifes face when i hit the brakes and all that water rushes forward into her shoes :evilgrin:  also how far down does this vent windo rubber go down into the door im sure ill need to remove the panel...thank's

Yeah, that's the right stuff. You have to remove yours and cut the new one to that length. Should have enough to do both sides out of that one piece. The short part, you won't use...both cuts will come from the longer side. Since our doors are cut off there's just a straight piece of vent window stripping, no corners.

I just had a woman from PA e-mail me this week about getting weatherstripping for her 40K mile '86 convertible. It's still all-original from the conversion company but apparently the weatherstripping is beginning to crack. That must suck!

yea we wouldnt know about replacing weatherstriping...;)  try to get some pic's of her vert and invite her to the forum..thanks E

Still waiting for her response, but I will let her know.

And you know, ever since Cat Jam I've been wondering...how do you get any car work done when you have fingers like giant carrots? The dexterity...man, it's got to suffer... ;)
