It just a personal game, does not matter what you run.  The question is can you beat your own personal best.  There will always be someone faster than you.

All for fun.

Am I the only one here whose car drools oils continuously?

No, mine does too. I'm just going to run it without oil... :hick:

I've got some sort of rear main seal thing going on and the rings are not happy. They just never "set" right. I should still get 3 passes hopefully...

I have a few "tricks" to try to keep it under control. The sad part is the rate of loss is about 1 drip per 10 seconds while running, which really isn't that bad. I lose maybe a quart between oil changes (3000 miles).

I'm leaving Olympia at 4:00 so that should put me there 6:30 to 7:00 but I will see you there.

New fuel system, new hood emblems, fun plates, and 10" wheels with slicks.  I will see what will happen.

Well that picture of the scoop emblem did not come out at all, maybe this one will.  They came from the front fenders of a 72 Eldorado.

I made it to the 12's best run;

rt .135, 60' 1.832, 1/8 8.285@84.45, 1/4 12.935@105.54

Will be there tonight also to try to do better yet.  Was pretty busy last night and I got there late, so I only got in 5 runs and no tuning.  My new fuel system worked perfect with no bogs so tonight I'm going to try to richen it up a bit.

Thanks Mike for calling these events.

EVERYBODY COME TONIGHT!!!

Ted and I will both be there as will Intimidator. Matt and Jim, you two better show!

OK boys, sit down, grab your asprin, and get ready. Layla made the 14's! AND didn't get kicked out of tech at ALL!

Now that you've had a few minutes, the Portland #2 Meet went great until I had to leave early for a bachelor party (which also went great ;) ). I made 8 passes in 2 hours, netting 3 14 second runs.

Best:

60' - 2.333
1/8 - 9.484@74.71
1/4 - 14.767@92.06

Backed that up with a:

60' - 2.243
1/8 - 9.526@74.12
1/4 - 14.872@90.56

Not bad for 85* heat! I'm of course going back tonight, for all night (6-12) to try to bring it lower. I was playing with fuel pressure and boost all night (ended up at 19psi and 47# fp). I'll update after tonight, so restock on your medications!

;) :D
