Out of the office

I'm leaving for Bellingham (230 miles north of home) for a few days. I'll have limited net access (email). I'm stripping my 87 TC that got hit by an 18-wheeler and visiting some friends. Also picking up my parts to fix the decal machine :D Of course it's STILL raining :toilet:

I *should* be back Sunday 6/17. (g/f's twin sister is having a baby any day now) I'll be stripping the Sport when I get back before summer quarter starts (Statistical Methods and Sociology :( ). I will have my barely-working backup cell if anybody calls.

Wow, you're a jerk aren't you?

The *actual* reason I had to up and leave EVERYTHING (including my car's dragstrip debut) is my best friend's woman was in a serious car wreck. She's braindead in a coma. I'm trying to keep his mind off of it (she's in FL) so I'm forcing him into working on his cars and cooking steaks.

I WAS planning a trip up here anyways for some parts to fix the decal machine, but not until some boxes went out and it was supposed to be a 2-day up-and-back, not a week long ordeal.

Have fun up there on your high horse.

eh, not really my business to but in, but it seems like the kid has been waiting weeks for those lines, and you're parting out cars all the time.

I'm parting out ONE car that I JUST got to my house from storage. None of my d of stuff includes fuel lines, and I've never stripped a factory 5.0 car, which is what daboss wanted the lines off of. You know what ASSumptions make don't you?

Mike, sorry to hear about you freind. I'll keep her in my prayers and I hope the boy will be ok through all this. As for 32V, that was a pretty dick-ish thing to say man. Mike's a stand up guy, and if it takes him alittle while longer to get Mason his stuff, then Mason has to wait alittle longer. I haven't talked to Mason yet but I'm willing to bet that he's ok waiting a few more days under the situation. shiznit happens and there isn't always a way to make everone happy

I was pretty shocked at that comment as well, especially towards such a well known and respected forum member.

Anyways, good luck and have fun (as much as you can, at least).  I hope everything turns out ok.

She's awake! Still can't talk or anything, but at least she's conscious.

Unfortunately for ME though, Geico called me today. (I haven't had Geico in 2.5 years). G/F rear ended some @$$ in a Subaru 3 YEARS ago with my SHO. (2 headlights and a hood). Now she's SUING us before the statute of limitations runs out. "Back pain" my @$$, her car only had a bent license plate and scuffed paint on the hitch. I hate jerks!

Well hooray for the [very] good news.

As for the bad news, I'm sure that'll get laughed outta court.

Ugh, it won't get laughed out of court unfortunately. Get Geico to investigate it even though you aren't insured through them anymore. They should be able to call :bs: and cancel their claim.

My dad had a similar incident with someone he backed into. This guy had a beat up Caddy with a custom gold grill and mismatched fenders and hood. My dad broke the grill on the car and that was it. Geico had the car fixed with a new hood, grill and fender and resprayed the entire front of their car. Later the guy tried to come back with a personal injury case. My dad wasn't even moving at 5 mph in reverse when he hit the guy. People are such a$$holes.

Glad to hear the girl is awake. Hopefully, she'll pull through.
