The Jy i got my TC rear from put the TC back in the yard, even after cutting the left rear quarter panel out of it, instead of crushing it. I was suprised I thought they would just put it on the pile to be crushed. I am glad they didnt thought the doors are in great shape, no rust. Though now there are some dents in the body from moving it.

I was thinking either Datsun B210 or Toyota Corolla. Possibly an early Tercel, but I don't know if they made those in four door. Either way, Kingcars - I said the only interesting striped car I could see was the Torino ;)

That would make sense - wasn't the Kadette the car the Chevette was born from? If you look at that car the "greenhouse" looks quite similar to a mid 70's Chevette, except of course it's got a trunk...

Well also if you look at the rear of the stripe..you see "OPEL"  ;)

My mom had a Kadett wagon when I was younger.  We had a semi run a red light and basically stop with the trailer wheels sitting on the hood....*crunch*

Yea I saw that too! I think we need more pictures. Can't remember the last time a vintage piece like that in a JY.:confused: and if I found one today I would be shocked.

Didn't only the GT's have the stripe?

I would seriously like to know more about the JY car.....

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or does the DS taillight of that bird have a chunk missing from it?
