Mass Air Harness question....

I saw a Harness conversion kit for Mass Air on E-Bay.It has the wires, instructions, and I have to supply the computer and Mass Air Meter. My question is,when installing Mass Air on our cars,is it exactly like doing a Stang?Or,are there a few differences between the two as far as the wiring for Mass Air would go?

Pretty much the same.  As per Coolcats:

PROCEDURE & NOTES

Quote
With the mass air computer you will need to reroute 2 wires in the wiring harness that goes to the computer. This controls the open and closing of the Thermactor air system, driven by the air pump. Fresh air is directed into the cylinder heads and the exhaust system for cleaner burning. If the system does not operate correctly, you may experience hesitation and increased emissions. There are 60 pin locations in the stock EEC-IV computer harness. You need to switch #51 to position #38, and #11 to position #32. The reason you need to switch the wires is due to the differences between the stock Cougar and the stock Mustang computers and harnesses.

You may also need to run a new wire to the fuel pump relay. In the Mustang, there is a secondary fuel pump monitor wire that runs from pin #19 on the computer to the fuel pump relay. It's basically a double-check to make sure there is sufficient power running to the fuel pump. If you do not run the wire you will get a code 95 (secondary fuel pump failure) when a computer (EEC) test is performed. It doesn't mean your fuel pump isn't running or working properly, just that the back-up check doesn't acknowledge it. It's up to you whether or not to run this wire.

Vinnie just take the plug from a yard with enough wire to splice into it,probably free and no shipping.

Won't a Stang harness just swap right in with no mods at all, then all I need is the Meter and computer?

I can buy the computer,Mass Air meter and wiring kit for less. That kit is a little over 120.00,but it'll climb higher before it's over. Those kits are not cheap at all.Plus,I have friends who have salvage yards.I'll go there and load up on what i need for cheap.
