Live and work in Vancouver (no income tax) and shop in Portland (no sales tax), can't be beat.

One thing to keep in mind is that it rains here a lot more than you are used to, so the bike may not look so good a lot of the year.

Come on over.

I would think that you would have no problem finding a truck driving job, sure are enough of them going down I-5.

I live in Olympia and it's very nice but the cost of housing is getting way too high.  None under 200k anymore and most over 300k.
