Yep those are 03's. I read alot of reviews on that intake and it seems like it will work well with the 347. I also like how it doesn't shroud the driver's side valve cover and the fact that it tucks the egr valve in the back outta the way.

i know that thing bumper to bumper,, i tried to convince the 223rd and the 54th to put presureon south africa to supply the blast shields that are suppose to be on the transfer case, power steering and transmission.  Ramadi Motor pool supplied me with some armox and i welded up and duplicated the original design since BAE wont do it.

those stupid air tanks are in totally the wrong place to.  Ive had to on a zillion cases brass weld holes from IED blasts as well as fix those stainless lines in the same  manner.

when you start having AC problems and no one can figure it out,, leme know,, i cyphered this common problem to be a connector just behind the operator seat and along the hull (ie- where you would usually stow your weapon) ,,or something called the PEG switch just behind the operator in the big grey box.

I have a ton of data on how things wire up because at the time, there was no technical pubs out yet.

oh,, another thing,, when your having lighting issues,, dont let motor pool stuff in a hum v bulb.  that was my most common problem and it resulted in funky stuff.

DId they ever finally get the 300amp alternators out to you guys i ordered for the whole theater?

Those blast sheilds on the Transfer case PS and Tranny are EXTREEMLY useful.  I saw quite a few that would have actually been able to roll out of the kill zone if those parts had been protected.  The actual damage wasnt that bad, but as you know when you crack ANY of the major components under there, they simply PUKE fluid.  And of course on the MSR, that means you aint going very far.  I was with Cco. 1-128 In out of Wisconsin here.  We did a lot of boots on the grouind Patrolling/Raiding In and around Samarra.  We also did route clearance from Tikrit to LSA Anaconda.  A lot of  blows up along that stretch of paved hell. Watch you ass out there, and make it home safe.

Your not kidding about the MSR. We have done countless recovery missions with our M88A2 because of vehicles breaking down. But it helps break the monotony of things. The beauty of being a mechanic is i keep my ass in the vehicle. Nothing against the infantry guys but they can have all that walking . I hook up to whoever is broke and im outta there.
