here  the cam specs are .050" duration, 204 degrees/intake, 214 degrees/exhaust. i have the Morana Performance Camshafts.

And did you call up the seller and chew thier ass for selling you a worn out cam?,,, those lift numbers are less than stock dude:dunce:

ok,, ive been fishing this thread long enough.  I do remember one individual who came on like you did a couple years ago and he ended up handing all of our asses to us. He does have a one of a kind and did the unexpected.  He also has a supercharger in his 87 3.8L.

Im usually not one to bash but i gotta say it , your talking foolish.  I and others have so much tech support to offer and we keep it real.  how on earth did you get the expertise to put in a cam (worn out one at that) and still,,,,,,,,to this day,,,,,,, the location of the eec eludes you?

please,, just forget about this thread,,, start over.

If an otherwise stock CFI 3.8 Cougar will do the quarter in 12-13 seconds with nothing but a rebuild, a cam and a flywheel I, personally, will give a beej to a bulldog, and provide video. You'd be lucky to get a 12-second 0-60 time with that car. Hell, even with the twin turbos you're dreaming about, you'd be lucky to hit 12's in the quarter.

Scott, he posted the duration #'s not lift.  There is only one cam listed for use with the flat tappet motors.

To run a high 12 or low 13 in the quarter, you're gonna need quite a bit more than a cam and "flywheel".

Do some research, stop lying and feel free to tell us how the car runs at the track when you become old enough to obtain a valid driver's license.

Jeremy, great picture!

Carm, I don't think you'll NEED to shoot that video, however feel free to do so if that's your thing:grinno: :tg: :giggle: :rollin:
