Good Daily Drivers Between 91-97...

One of my buddies wants a car. This is going to be his first car, and he  have some money, not much, but enough to buy a decent car. Of course, i cant recommend to him any car because i only have fords, and if i were him, i would buy an MN-12 or a Stang, simply because i know how to fix them, but thats not the case. I want to know, guys, if some of you know good daily drivers made between 1991 and 1997. This is our year range. Feel free to list any good car (or bad, to be aware of it!)....

Nissan pickup!!! I beat the living bejesus out of mine and it never breaks! When something is getting close to breaking, it gives you plenty of warning. (I've replaced 2 things on this one in 10K miles, the starter solenoid when i swallowed the whole nose in a lake :D and the v-belts which squealed for 3 months before breaking, in my driveway) My first Nissan was a 1986.5 and I sold it with 286K showing on the broken odometer (we drove it for 18 months after that). That poor truck went through more right rear tires then oil changes...
