This is why I rarely discuss music anymore.. always have to be people out there who sit there and say such and such isn't "true" or "real" whatever in the most judgemental and superior tone they can muster. Who cares, as long as you like what you're listening to? Listen to what you want to listen to, when where and why you want to listen to it, and those who don't like it.

The above statement is rendered null and void, however, if I'm in my car with the windows up, the A/C on max, and the stereo respectably loud (inside the car, not outside it) and I still hear your boom-boom-boom shiznit coming through my Lincoln's sound deadening as if a monkey was sitting in the backseat banging on 55 gallon drums. Or if it's 2:45 AM and I'm having a hard time trying to get to sleep and your boom-boom-boom shiznit is running randomly around my neighborhood. Then I'll probably render a negative opinion on your listening habits and expect you to do something about it.. or the cops will. :p I can understand wanting a bit louder music, but it gets ridiculous fast.

The Guess Who - Undun

That is an AWESOME song. In fact, it may be my favorite Guess Who song.

You know, five lines into that post, I figured no one would read most of that shiznit.. :p

I make enough long posts that few people have the stomach to read all the way through, I think I'm just going to start tossing in random stuff for fun.

"So I was replacing the rotor, and a little fluffy bunny rabbit hopped by, and I shot it. Anyway.."

I read through the entire list, as most of it made sense to me. I'm the kind of person who hates most modern music, especially the rock-rap mainstream garbage. I suppose I'm narrow-minded.

I saw you mentioned Primus in your post. "Tommy the Cat" is probably my favorite from them. Did you ever listen to any Oysterhead? Claypool is a badass.

A recent one I've just stumbled across is Striptease by Hawksley Workman. I heard it for the first time while doing the rear brakes in the Volvo and it's a pretty ed catchy tune for driving or working on cars...

Great list. Music I like now that I didn't even know of before.  I never knew a German band could kick soo much ass.  I think I'm addicted to rammstein now.
