NEED 5.0 accelerator cable

hey i need a 5.0 accelerator cable or a 3.8 accelerator cable bracket. the reaon cause i had a 3.8 and swaped it to a 5.0 but still got the 3.8 accelerater cable but the 5.0 bracket does not let it work correctly. so i either need a 5.0 accelerator cable or a 3.8 accelerator cable bracket.

Check this out.I saw it on E-Bay with 5 days left to bid.It's $9.99 so far.Item #270025032878 Maybe that will help you out.It's a 5.0 cable for a carb.Just type in Mustang throttle cable,and a few EFI cables for cheap are there also.I didn't know which one you needed.

well im confused i know there is a throttle cable which i just bought and a transmission cable which i have but there is a third cable if im not mistaken. Does anyone know which cable it is and were can i get it for a 5.0??

Are you talking about the cruise control,maybe?

yeah yeahhh i was confused for a sec and i asked sleepertbird87 so im caught up now but my question is do i need to change my old kick down since it was from a 3.8 but im still using the aod from the 3.8 on the 5.0. OR do i need a kick down for a 5.0 ???
