Yes they are the stock motor mounts, in the past year I only busted one.... I can't seem to find anyone that makes solid or poly mounts....The only thing that saves me is that they are safety mounts.... I always have a few sets on hand....LOL !!!

Welcome to the board! Car looks great.

Chuckw here on the message board makes the solid mounts, very nice quality I just bought a set

Nice Cougar. I've seen it before on the net or at least heard about it. I don't remember where but it sounds so familiar. *beating head against wall*

My best time so far on 26 x 10.5 Mickey Thompson Street ET's was 11.85@ 119..... My trans is what's holding me back,  but I'll take it for now..... I want to be able to hit the lower 11's with the TKO next year... I had a custom chip burned while on the dyno to calibrate exact fuel curves while under boost... This eliminates the need for a boost timing control and the use of the FMU.... It is much more accurate.

you pulled a 12 second 1/4 mile with out traction lock? 60 foot time?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Hey,
I have a traction Lock, it's just really weak right now..... It didn't grab on that run, but it usually does.... I'm in the process of doing a locker over the winter.... And yes, in the run that was posted it didn't work and I ran a 12.1 @ 115 with a 1.8    60 ft. time... Not shabby right... I have run in the 11's as mentioned in last post....

thanks
