New refridgerator

Well darn,,, bought it yesterday,, delivered today.

its been here for about 10 hours now and still the fridge side of it wont go below 44deg F. If you open the door, it will hover around the mid 50's for a while.  Takes a long time before it gets to the 40's.
I measured at the output blower and the temp there is 39.  Maybe the cooling oil needs some time to circulate case its sat for so long new.  I dono.

Finally the freezer side got down to zero like i want, but the fridge wont budge.  I'll let it run tonight and if the thing isnt down to the low 20's to teens on the fridge side by am,, i have to call them ( arrggg,, lowes).

I hate this.
Yet again i can feel some sort of conflict coming on.

$1,499 bux double door crushed ice/water/cube ice/water filter ect.  I also bought a GE over the range big microwave unit for 239.

If you are not happy with it now exchange it.

I would not be happy with what you describe.

I learned my lesson on fridges a long time ago and bought a 1500 dollar side by side unit like you did and it always had cooling problems.  It is not the fridge cooling that killed me it was the throwing out spoiled food that made me mad.  I replaced it after 2 years with a 400 dollar unit that has served me well for 15 years.

Just my story and something to chew on  :)..........or food for thought  :)

If I remember right, when we bought our new one, they recommended it be plugged in for 12 hours before putting anything into it so it could cool properly..... maybe it just needs time to get to the right temp.
