Oil consumption through intake

Im curious if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it. After every oil change approx. 2000 miles later my low oil level light comes on. Sure enough im low. Now there are no external leaks whatsoever. What I have noticed is engine oil seeping out the bottom of my throttle body through the linkage...im talking noticably. Im thinking that oil is being sucked up through the fresh air hose between the throttle body and the oil fill standpipe. Which I thought was to provide air for the crankcase. The PCV valve and screen are clean as I usually clean them every other oil change. No smoke out the tailpipes and the engine runs great...any ideas?

thats gotta be blowby related.  If thats the case, it would seem that you plugs would be soot covered or gummed up i would think.

Perhaps you should remove the egr and see if one of the ports is moist with oil.  that would mean the egr needs either cleaned out or its not holding vac pres,, or,, its not seating completely letting crank case oil into the uppper.  The egr is suppose to redirect unbunr gases into the upper but if there is blowby or bad rings, you might have to take things apart to check.

its possible you have valve stem seal issues.
