You'll need to change your struts too-the struts that mount the 10" disc brakes won't allow the 11" caliper to fit.
All I know of FOR SURE that'll fit w/o modificatios are TC PRC struts.
Not sure if Stang struts can be used with c/c plates...I've not mae it that far yet in my plans...I'm using the TC stuff under mine right now...as per my sig.

The stock struts can be used with spacers (washers). No issues there. However, Mustang struts will bolt up and work fine. Just a clarification.

thanks eric. i know ive heard people say the mustang struts are a lil bit shorter than Tbird/cougar ones. guess u have to modify c/c plates that are made for a mustang to fit the tbird/cougar (spacers i think) but its just what ive heard. btw... the 87-93 GT mustang doesnt have C/C plates factory right? just odd thing that popped into my head

Correct on all your questions. The shorter Mustang strut really doesn't affect much, as far as ride quality...it's not perfect but not bad either. There were no factory c/c plates. Back in the old days (like, 6 years ago) people would have to modify aftermarket Mustang c/c plates to fit our cars. Fortunately Maximum Motorsports makes a set specifically for us, no mods necessary, and for the same ~$200 US price as all the Mustang ones.

ah ok... so the C/C plates are interchangable nowadays or not? still got the specific ones... just that MM makes them for our tbird/cougs?

No, they're still not interchangable. Far as I know, MM is the only company listing specific c/c plates for the Fox T-Bird/Cougar.
