1983 Ford Thunderbird

FOR SALE:  A southern car originally, it was driven by "grandma" every day until 1995 when restoration and modification began.  A 3.8L V-6 with 40K miles went in, the car was lowered, Lincoln front seats and mirrors were installed, dual exhaust, ground effects, custom hood, modified American Racing wheels and custom paint and graphics were all added.  NO RUST and approximately 117K original miles.  Power windows, power seats, power mirrors, power steering, automatic transmission, CD player and is fun to drive!  Garaged every winter and well maintained, this TBird was purchased in 1989 and has remained in the family ever since.  Car is located in Canton, Ohio.  Asking price of $6000.

You could prolly pull around 500$ off of the ground effects, but I doubt you will get anywheres near your asking price for the car. I do like how it looks though.

The ground effects are fairly rare. If you wanna part them out, lemme know.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I agree with Haystack...nice car, but unless you find someone with a big bank account and loves your car, you're gonna have to down the asking price.  Looks good, thought.

Thanks for the input--I've been half-heartedly trying to sell it for about 9 months, but no serious inquiries.  Great to get info from true fans of these cars.  Maybe I'll just see what happens and have fun with it in the meantime!  It could use some new wheels and a spoiler...;)
